Pavan Sooriyaarachchi – Studying abroad and why I think it helps me.
I completed my Cambridge A-Levels at an International School in Sri Lanka. I obtained 1A*, 1A and a B grade.
I wanted to follow a Degree in Engineering and wish to
- learn from research-intensive lecturers who impart the latest trends and findings
- study in an environment where fellow students come from different parts of the world
- experience and learn from living independently and take more responsibility
- explore new cultures and gain a global mindset
- apply for a job and successfully navigate the multiple interviews enabling me to work overseas
- obtain paid work experience overseas related to the degree.
